Team Bio

-We play our league games in EDP (Elite Development League-Top Flight Central FL)- 8 games in the fall, 8 in the spring.

-This year we will also be competing in the FYSA Sunshine State Premier League. (This is a year long “invite only” league versus the best teams from each region of Florida) -Games are typically held at a “neutral site” that limits travel to less than two hours for each team and often have two games in one day for a tournament like setting). Total of 10-12 games for the year.

-We will also be playing in the Lake Nona Summer Indoor Futsal Soccer League (For high level competition in a very fast paced game through the summer-We work around summer vacations and plans and field a team based on who is in town for a given week)

Recent accomplishments have been:

-Vero Spring Classic Champions (playing up a year to u13)
-Space Coast Clash Champions
-Final 4 Region B Commissioners Cup
-1st place Brevard Hurricane Classic
-2nd place Vero Winter Cup
-2nd place FKK Winter Classic
-3rd Place Elite Development League-Top Flight Fall
-2nd Place Elite Development League- Spring (playing up to 11v11 u13)

Practice, Training, and Analytics

-We train 3 times a week. (Two Team Practices. One technical skills training session)
-Weekly VEO recorded games and practices with video analysis. (All games are fully recorded and posted for all families to see and our training staff to analyze and evaluate whole team and individual player development)
-Nona Summer Indoor Futsal League June-Early August. (One or two teams will be fielded weekly based on player availability each week-We do recognize that each family will have some summer plans and vacations)
-No interference with ODP- We have several ODP state players, so we make sure to schedule around all ODP tryouts, training weekends, and state scrimmages.

Coaching Philosophy

-All of our training drills and tactics come directly from the UEFA Pro and Coerver curriculum European model. These training methods are used by top youth academy teams in Europe as well as the top MLS Academy Programs in the country such as NY Redbulls, Philadelphia Union, and FC Dallas.

We constantly strive to educate ourselves as coaches to be sure we are implementing the latest findings in the technical, tactical and psychological aspects of the game and individual player development. The program is designed to give dedicated and talented players the training and experience needed to reach the highest levels of the game.

-Player and team development as a whole is our number one priority. I want to be clear that at this age we place a very high emphasis on the development of our players and team, not just on the pitch but off it as well. That said, our results speak for themselves as we have stood toe to toe and beaten some of the best teams in our age group in the state from the hotbeds of youth soccer talent out of Miami/South Florida, Tampa, and Orlando as the skills taught individually and as a unit do translate to success on the field.
